The Journal of Aquatic Biology and Ecology (JABE) is committed to making high-quality scientific research freely accessible to the global community. As an open access journal, all published articles are made immediately and permanently available online without subscription barriers.

Article Processing Charge

To support the costs associated with editorial handling, peer review management, professional copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, indexing support, and long-term digital archiving, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of:

USD 100 per accepted manuscript

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.

No Submission Fee

JABE does not charge any submission fee. Authors may submit their manuscripts for editorial evaluation and peer review free of charge. Payment is required only upon acceptance.

Waivers and Discounts

The journal may consider partial fee waivers in exceptional cases, particularly for authors from low-income countries or those facing genuine financial constraints. Waiver requests should be submitted to the editorial office prior to or immediately after manuscript acceptance.
